Personal Insight Discovery Worksheet
Thanks for reading my blog and I’m glad to hear some of it not only resonated with you, but made you curious about self reflection. To help give you insights I put together this personal insights discovery worksheet. The idea being to help you dig a bit deeper into your subconscious and uncover those underlying thoughts and feelings that influence your behaviours and decisions.
Please take your time to answer these questions thoughtfully and honestly.
Part 1: Identifying hidden thoughts
What recurring thoughts do you notice throughout your day? List them below:

When would you say that you find yourself most at ease? What’s going on when that happens, what thoughts are you having at these times?
Consider a recent decision you made. What thoughts influenced this decision that you weren’t fully aware of at the time?
Part 2: Exploring underlying feelings
Identify an emotion you’ve felt recently but haven’t fully explored. What might be beneath this emotion?

Think about a situation that makes you uncomfortable. What feelings come up then, and what do you think they mean?
Reflect on a happy moment. What deeper feelings are going on here besides just happiness do you think?
Part 3: Patterns and insights
Looking at your answers above, what patterns do you notice in your thoughts and feelings?
How might these patterns be influencing your behaviour or decisions in ways you hadn’t realised?
Based on these insights, list one change you could make to align more closely with your core values and desires.
